Purple shampoo is an absolute necessity for blondes to use in between hair coloring sessions as it easily helps keeps your blonde beautiful. Blondage, a color-depositing purple shampoo for blonde hair is part of Redken’s newest Color Extend color care collection. This toning and strengthening system will help keep your blonde brighter and healthier.
How to Use
Wearing suitable gloves, apply Color Extend Blondage Shampoo to wet hair, lather and rinse well. Repeat if necessary. For maximum benefits, leave second lather on 3-5 minutes. Rinse. Follow with Color Extend Blondage Conditioner.
Keep in mind that purple shampoo does not replace your regular shampoo and should only be used once or twice a week. Doss warns that there is such a thing as too much purple. “When you eliminate too much yellow, it visually ends up darker and a lot of people don’t want it to look darker,” she says. “So if you wash your hair twice a week, use the purple shampoo only once a week to keep the hair bright but not yellow.”

I’ve been using this for an entire week now and wasn’t really expecting to see much of a difference but OH MY GOODNESS! I am in love with this shampoo. I haven’t had my blonde hair done in a few months and it’s defintley been on the brassy side but no joke after only 2 washes with this shampoo my times are back to being bright and fresh looking. I am amazed, seriously. Also the smell of this shampoo is heavenly! I 100% recommend this to everyone with blonde hair and I will be repurchasing in the future!! I did receive this product complimentary but this is my honest opinion.

I received Redken Blondage shampoo nearly a month ago, from Influenster. And I love it! It left my hair appearing brighter, and healthier and blonder too! And it smelled amazing! I did not use gloves, as they suggested. And I did stayed my hands a little bit, though it does wash off pretty easily. I did receive this product for complementary for testing purposes, though is the best purple shampoo ever tried.
